JOB SUMMARY: The Office Administrator (OA) employed through Step Time, Inc., is responsible for promoting the mission and vision of the organization. OA is responsible for organizing, facilitating, empowering, encouraging, and assisting staff in accomplishing their daily goals. OA will work side by side with staff in building sustainable meaningful relationships that help to enhance self-worth, self-esteem, and foster relationships that yield positivity and self-confidence. The OA employees serves as a strong contributor to the Step Time company. The OA is responsible for building relationships both internally and externally and foster collaboration with colleagues. OA’s are required to organize each clients file, ensure all files are maintained in a manner that enable sustainability, and provides feedback to all staff about any and all missing documentation that must be completed with 24 hours of the written notifications for corrections.

❖ Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet production deadlines and prioritize the workload, as well as reach and meet production goals and expectations daily.
❖ Ensure that you are promoting, encouraging and empowering inclusivity for each staff
❖ Follow all state and federal laws regarding confidentiality, inclusivity, cultural competence and encourage diversity and bridging the gap of clients who may not look or have the same views by welcoming innovation and forward thinking for a culturally welcoming workspace and organization.
EDUCATION (Required):
❖ Associate’s or Bachelor’s in social work, psychology, or criminal justice
❖ Demonstrated experience working with individuals or families on issues related to mental health, community resources, case management and/or advocacy
❖ Commitment to evidence and strength-based, trauma-informed, recovery-focused programming
PREFERRED:
❖ Demonstrated expertise in providing cross-cultural TRAINING WITH STAFF
❖ Bilingual in Spanish, and English
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
❖ Requires driving, sitting, standing, light lifting, bending, and reaching; and the ability to use and operate standard office equipment, including computer, calculator, fax machine, phone, printer, cell phone, and Microsoft 365
WORK CONDITIONS:
❖ May at time require evenings and weekend hours depending on the need of the staff and the requirements of the program.
❖ This position does not have the flexibility to work from home.
RESPONSIBILITY:
❖ Assist staff with their daily goals and objectives
❖ Work closely with staff to meet their daily productivity requirements
PROGRAM:
❖ Attend staff meetings, in services and other program activities as requested
❖ Participate in Step Time’s committee meetings, and outside activities as required and directed by the CEO & President and/or supervisor.
